From 2019 till 2021, I have been a student assistant in the DFG-funded project Curating Digital Images:  Ethnographic Perspectives on the Affordances of Digital Images in Heritage and Museum Contexts, integrated in the DFG priority programme The Digital Image. Within the project I supported the team in organisational matters as well as maintaining and developing the project’s online presence. I assisted in the research process with transcription and coding as well as conducting background research.

As a graduate student at the Institute of European Ethnology, I have an interest in archival practices and in the ways in which digital media can be researched from an ethnographic perspective. Previous projects that I have been involved in have explored artistic and scholarly approaches to the digital. I am also interested in furthering the preservation and display of ephemeral digital objects especially net.art.
